I'm a relatively new futbol (soccer) fan and am a supporter of my local Major League Soccer (MLS) team, the San Jose Earthquakes. I went to games in 2004 and 2005 when the Quakes were playing home games at Spartan Stadium (San Jose State University - San Jose, CA). But then the ownership moved the team to Houston (Houston Dynamo). After a 2-year absence of a MLS franchise in the Bay Area - the Quakes are BACK (as a new expansion team).
I am also following the Champions League this year. My team, AC Milan, has already been knocked out. The "final 4" are Liverpool FC, Chelsea FC, Manchester United (all from the English Premier League) and FC Barcelona (from the Spanish Premier Division). I'm pulling for Barcelona, but I will also be rooting for whoever is playing against Man U.
